Zip Lining

A Zip Line Canopy Tour is often the Most Popular Activity for people visiting Costa Rica! Feel the Adrenaline Kick In as you Fly Over the Forest Canopies and over Canyons. A Standard Ziplining Tour can take a couple of hours and can Feature 10 or more Different Ziplines. Drivers of ATVs must be at least 16 Years Old and possess a Valid Drivers License. Most ATV Tour operators will allow kids over 12 years old to ride double with their parents or guide.

Scuba Diving & Snorkeling

Las Catalinas Islands are home to some of the Best Coastal Diving in Costa Rica with a fantastic variety of marine life. With more than 12 Great Dive Sites, if you are planning to dive during your visit to Costa Rica, Las Catalinas has to be on your list of places to dive. The Islands are famous for the Giant Pacific Manta Ray sightings which are typically seen over the winter months of December to May.

Bull Shark Diving at Bat Islands is also a must do if you are an avid diver. The Bull Shark dive is a seasonal experience available from May to October. You can also see Giant Manta and Humpback Whales.

The Islands are also home to White Tip Reef Sharks, Eagle Rays, Devil Rays, Cow Nose Rays, Turtles, Dolphins, Moray Eels, Puffer Fish, Giant Schools of Jacks and Grunts. Over the months of August and September the Humpback Whales come inshore of the Islands to Calf and can be seen frequently close to the dive boats and divers are treated to whale-song almost everyday during this season.

Las Catalinas Dive Sites are Suitable for All Levels of Diver & Snorkeler. Non Divers can also take part in a Half Day Course and Scuba Dive at Las Catalinas.

Volcano Park Combo Tours

Rincon de La Vieja Adventure Combo is the best all day Volcano Park Combo Tour that includes Ziplining, Horseback Riding, River Tubing, Full Buffet Lunch, Hot Springs, and Volcanic Mud Bath. Fishing

Fishing in Costa Rica is Excellent All Year Long. Most companies Specialize in Offshore Bill Fishing such as Marlin (Blue, Black, Stripe) Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo. Companies in our area fish the Flamingo, Tamarindo, Conchal, and Potrero regions year round.

The quality of Fishing here varies with prevailing conditions. A seasonal weather change for the better, kicks in around December and it is common to release several Sailfish and even a Marlin or two in a single day. There are also Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, a variety of Snapper, Grouper, Rainbow Runners, Mackerel and much more.

Fishing Tours here are usually categorized as Inshore Half Day or Offshore Full Day and depart from Flamingo Marina.

White Water Tubing & Rafting

Enjoy Non-Stop Fun and Excitement Bouncing, Splashing and Cruising down Miles of Class I, II, III & IV Rapids depending on what tour you choose in a Single Tube or Group Raft. There are plenty of Still Waters along the way to appreciate the beautiful tropical scenery of the Rivers and Canyons of Costa Rica. As we descend the rivers, the waves will decrease in intensity which will then allow us time to Observe and enjoy some of the Wildlife that inhabits the area. All Tours are Guided to ensure your Safety and Enjoyment throughout the duration of your experience. Tubing Minimum age is 8 years old and must be 1.4m (5ft Tall). Rafting is 7 years.

Surfing In Costa Rica

Costa Rica is well known for its Beautiful Beaches and many are Perfect for Learning to Surf. It is a Fun and Rewarding Sport and is something that is accessible to all ages! When you enroll in a Surf Lesson, you’ll have a Surf Coach dedicated to your Success. You’ll learn how to surf the right way, from true Experts that will show you exactly what to do to master the sport and continue to improve.

You can choose from a One-Day Surf Lesson to a Multi Day Surf Camp. The Surf Lessons are usually Two Hours long and are scheduled according to the Ocean Tides. In the Introductory Surf Lesson you will Learn the Basics of Surfing such as Standing, Paddling, Turning, Tides as well as Ocean Awareness and Surf Ethics.

Surfing is all about having a Good Time. Not only will you learn to surf, but you’ll have a blast doing it. On offer are Private Lessons as well as Group Lessons for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.

Paddle Board | SUP

If you are a Paddle Board Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced, we have an SUP Tour or SUP Rental for you. There are some great beaches to learn Paddle Surf in Guanacaste and there are great Flat Water Paddle options too in Rivers, Estuaries and sheltered beach areas.

The Qualified Instructors will teach you everything you need to know, from safety and etiquette to flatwater paddling and wave surfing techniques. If you are already proficient in Stand Up Paddle then Rent a Board and find your own adventure.

Animal Sanctuary

The nearby Animal Sanctuary in Guanacaste is home to the Largest Variety of Species in one location. The habitats are designed to provide a natural setting for the animals while allowing guests to interact and enjoy up close and safe viewing.

Some of the animals in our care have been born in other wildlife management programs for scientific and educational purposes; others are rescued and placed in our management by the authorities of Costa Rica. These animals are not fit for life in the natural environment and are cared for by a large team of qualified and dedicated professionals.
